Malcolm Morgan

Malcolm Morgan has been actively involved with boating and yacht brokerage since childhood, starting with working at his father’s yacht brokerage in Monterey Bay, California. Malcolm has also been working on the forefront of marine electrical systems on all types of vessels from megayachts, to trawlers, and all types of sailboats. What sets Malcolm apart from other brokers, is his intimate knowledge of how high tech vessel systems function, and how they can enhance your overall boating experience. He often lectures on complex electrical systems to surveyor and harbormaster associations, and nearly every other brokerage in the Bay Area has hired him at some point to advise them on their vessel systems. Malcolm offers clear, easy to understand explanations of lithium batteries, inverters, European shore power, integrated electronics, and how to market these systems to todays tech-savvy buyers. His long career in the boating industry includes affiliations with ABYC, NFPA, as well as NAMS and SAMS surveyor associations. His client list includes nearly every harbor and boatyard in the SF Bay Area, the US Coast Guard, several America’s Cup campaigns, and many State and Federal agencies. He is a licensed yacht salesman with the State of California.
