Barbara Siewert

Barbara has been a boater for most of her life. After many years racing her 26' sailboat, she and her husband went to the darkside, and had a custom 43' power boat built to cruise the shallow waters of the east coast United States. What followed was a two year adventure that took them up and down the Intracoastal Waterway from Florida to NewYork. Winters in the Bahamas and summers in New England. Eventually they transited the Erie Canal, Trent Severn Waterway and into the Great Lakes. From there they took their boat (by truck) to Seattle and became Lake Union "live aboards". The adventures continue in Anacortes where they recently relocated. After building a barn in their backyard as their COVID project, they plan on building a boat designed for the fun of San Juan islands.

Barbara has worked as a life long accounting professional, as Closing Coordinator, she finally gets to fulfill her dream of working, not just playing, "in boats".
