Alex Knudtson

Alex brings a lifelong passion for the sea and extensive maritime expertise to Seattle Yachts. Raised on the waters of Homer, Alaska he began his nautical journey fishing on family vessels. Alex owned his first boat at 14 and progressed his career through roles as a deckhand, commercial water taxi captain, and crew member on research and tourist vessels.

With a global perspective gained from traveling to over 40 countries, he complements his practical experience with formal training, including a two-year marine maintenance technology program, marine electrical and mechanical certifications, and a U.S. Coast Guard 100 Ton Master license.

This blend of hands-on experience and technical knowledge, combined with his time as a boat mechanic, allows Alex to focus on building strong client relationships and expertly guiding them to find the perfect vessel to meet their unique needs.
