New Keel
A new keel was designed by Tim Kernan while he worked for Bob Perry, the design goals reduced displacement, a lower c/g with the ballast package forward. All while maintaining the same bolt pattern. A forward-swept keel was fitted resulting in improved performance on all points of sail with a greatly reduced displacement.
New Rudder
in 2010 a new rudder was commissioned, designed by Fred Courable. A more vertical design with
reduced wetted surface and higher performance foil resulted in higher sustained speeds and
more control across all wind speeds.
