TAURUS — 2004 Navigator 4400

Centrally listed by Brewer Yacht Sales and located in Westbrook, CT

Great Loop Proven. Extensively Upgraded. Turnkey and Ready to Cruise.

If you have ever dreamed of doing the Great Loop—or simply want a capable, comfortable cruising yacht that has already proven herself over thousands of miles—TAURUS deserves your attention.

This 2004 Navigator 4400 isn't just a boat that could do the Great Loop. She has done it. Her owners completed the Great Loop aboard TAURUS in 2021–2022, giving her a genuine pedigree as a capable long-range coastal cruiser. Even better, the boat has continued to receive significant upgrades and preventative maintenance since then, making her exceptionally well prepared for her next adventure.

For the buyer looking for a cruising yacht that is ready to go rather than one that becomes a never-ending refit project, TAURUS offers a compelling combination of proven performance, comfort, thoughtful upgrades and documented care.

Proven on the Great Loop

The Great Loop is one of the ultimate tests of a cruising boat. It demands reliability, maneuverability, efficient systems and comfortable accommodations for extended periods aboard.

TAURUS completed the Loop in 2021–2022 and emerged from that experience with a valuable history that cannot be replicated simply by adding equipment to a boat sitting at the dock.

Her owners have continued to invest in her following the Loop, addressing major systems and replacing equipment that matters to a serious cruiser.

She's been there. She's done it. And she's ready to do it again.

Extensive Upgrades & Maintenance

TAURUS has benefited from substantial investment over the years, with many of her major systems upgraded or replaced. Highlights include:

• Engine mounts replaced — 2017
• All electronics replaced — 2017
• Washer/dryer added — 2020
• Pilot House air conditioning replaced — 2020
• Exhaust elbows replaced — 2022
• Forward hatch replaced — 2022
• Both VacuFlush head units replaced — 2022
• Inverter/charger replaced — 2023
• Salon air conditioning replaced — 2023
• New dinghy — 2025
• Master stateroom air conditioning replaced — 2025
• House batteries replaced — 2026
• Thruster batteries replaced — 2026
• Bottom painted — 2026
• Anchors replaced
• Torqeedo electric outboard included with the dinghy

The result is a yacht where many of the upgrades a new owner might otherwise have to undertake have already been completed.

A True Cruising Platform

The Navigator 4400 is exceptionally well suited to extended cruising. Her design provides the accommodations and living spaces needed to spend meaningful time aboard while retaining the maneuverability and practicality that make a yacht of this size so appealing for the Great Loop, Intracoastal Waterway, coastal cruising and island adventures.

Her enclosed pilothouse provides a protected command center and excellent cruising environment, while the salon creates a comfortable gathering space when you're relaxing at anchor or tied to the dock.

With air conditioning upgrades in the pilothouse, salon and master stateroom, comfort has been a clear priority. The addition of a washer/dryer is another particularly valuable upgrade for anyone planning extended cruising.

And when it comes time to explore beyond the mothership, the new 2025 dinghy and included Torqeedo electric outboard make getting ashore or exploring quiet coves easy and convenient.

Documented Professional Care

One of the most compelling aspects of TAURUS is not simply what has been replaced—but who has been taking care of her.

The vast majority of her service has been performed by Brewer/Safe Harbor, at either Dauntless or Pilots Point. Service records are available, providing prospective buyers with valuable documentation of her maintenance and investment history.

For a cruising buyer, that documentation is important. It provides a much clearer picture of how the boat has been cared for and what has been addressed over the years.

Ready for Her Next Chapter

There is a significant difference between purchasing a boat that needs to be prepared for cruising and purchasing one that has already been through the experience and subsequently received substantial upgrades.

TAURUS falls firmly into the latter category.

Her Great Loop experience demonstrates her cruising capability. Her extensive list of upgrades demonstrates continued investment. Her professional service history provides confidence. And her 2026 bottom paint, new house and thruster batteries and other recent improvements mean the current owner has continued to prepare her for the years ahead.

Whether your dream is doing the Great Loop, cruising the Intracoastal Waterway, spending summers exploring New England, heading south for the winter, or simply enjoying extended weekends aboard, TAURUS offers an unusually well-developed platform from which to begin.

The Loop has already been completed. The upgrades have already been made. The next adventure is yours.
