Cockpit

The "Glide Away" cockpit is designed for comfort and functionality, featuring wood inlay on the bench seating and a teak cockpit floor. There are ample storage options, including a locker under the bench seat, a large lazarette under the port helm, and a dedicated compartment for the liferaft between the helm seats. The companionway door has a convenient storage compartment in the cockpit locker.

A fold-down swim platform with a telescopic swim ladder provides easy water access, and the cockpit table, made from folding polyester with integrated storage, cup holders, and courtesy lighting, adds to the usability. Gas is stored in a dedicated locker under the starboard helm seat, with room for two bottles and a cut-off valve under the stove in the galley.

Comfort Features

"Glide Away" is equipped with a range of comfort features designed to enhance your onboard experience. Thanks to its thoughtfully designed ventilation system, the boat has excellent airflow. It includes two opening cockpit and roof ports, two opening ports integrated into the lateral windows, and four opening deck hatches. Each deck hatch has a combination of shade/insect screens, providing flexible options for managing light and air circulation while keeping insects out.

The climate control system includes a 16,000 BTU air conditioning unit installed under the saloon seating, with vents strategically placed in the saloon, forward cabin, and aft cabin. This ensures that the interior remains comfortable, even on the hottest days.

For entertainment, the saloon features two stereo speakers, and two additional watertight speakers are installed in the cockpit. These allow you to enjoy your favorite music, whether inside or out.
