2008 Egg Harbor

Egg Harbor Convertibles have earned a loyal following thanks to their timeless lines, quality construction, and versatile layout. Rarely do these boats come to market, and examples of this quality are even harder to find. This freshwater vessel has been exceptionally maintained and represents one of the finest 37s to become available in years.

'Jacks Battle' has spent its entire life in the Great Lakes under the care of a single owner since new. It has never been used in saltwater and has been stored in climate controlled storage every winter. The result is a boat that shows remarkably well both cosmetically and mechanically, with a level of preservation that's difficult to duplicate. Power comes from twin Caterpillar 3126’s with only 1,100 hours. Maintenance has been performed throughout ownership by a Caterpillar-certified technicians, and service records are available for review. The engine room is exceptionally clean and reflects the type of ownership every buyer hopes to find.

This vessel features a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer, which is rarely seen on boats of this size. Whether you're trolling, anchored out for the evening, or simply dealing with an uncomfortable beam sea, the reduction in roll transforms the onboard experience and makes this Egg Harbor feel like a much larger vessel.

The electronics package is equally impressive and was clearly assembled with redundancy in mind. Furuno and Garmin multifunction displays provide independent navigation systems, while dual radar arrays, FLIR thermal imaging, autopilot integration, AIS, VHF communications, and Starlink internet make this a capable platform for everything from Great Lakes cruising to extended offshore adventures.

For anglers, the Egg Harbor remains one of the most respected sportfishing platforms in her class. The spacious self-bailing cockpit features an in-deck fishbox, livewell, tackle center, transom door, rod holders, outriggers, cockpit bolsters, spreader lights, and convenient engine room access directly from the cockpit. Whether your target is salmon on Lake Michigan or pelagics offshore, the boat is equipped and ready.

Below deck, the two-stateroom layout offers comfortable accommodations for family and guests. The forward master features an island berth, while the guest stateroom provides over/under bunks. The enclosed head includes a separate shower, and the galley-up arrangement creates an open and inviting salon with excellent visibility and plenty of seating.

What truly separates this Egg Harbor from many others on the market is its ownership history. Freshwater use, heated indoor storage, documented maintenance, and long-term ownership are the factors that matter most as these boats age. Those attributes are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly on a vessel equipped to this level.
