How To Apply For The $1,500 Seattle Yachts Yearly Scholarship

Thank for visiting Seattle Yachts where we will explain how to win the yearly $1,500 scholarship. On a yearly basis, Seattle Yachts will give a $1,500 scholarship to one student chosen by a panel of our employees based on their application and merits. To apply, you MUST be a student at a college or university and there must be a letter of recommendation from a professor or faculty member of your school. Full list of criteria is below. This scholarship is not limited to any one university.

Applications must be submitted via email to Scholarship@SeattleYachts.com. All applications must be submitted by 12/31/2021 by 5:00pm Eastern. The winning applicant will be chosen based on their GPA, community service, recommendation letter, and finally at the discretion of the panel.

Criteria For Applying

• Must be enrolled in at least of 6 hours undergraduate courses or 3 hours graduate at an accredited University.
• Must have taken at least 40 undergraduate credit hours or 10 graduate credit hours.
• Must have proof of a declared major.
• Must demonstrate volunteer work on campus or in the community of attended University or College.
• Must attach one letter of recommendation on official letterhead from a professor or University faculty member.
• You must be currently enrolled at your college or university during the time of submission.
• You must have a 2.80 GPA or higher.

• We do not accept faxed applications. Only direct mail or emailed applications will be accepted.
• Please send your application via email where possible.
• Do not send any CDs, USB drives, tax returns, bank balances, resumes or CVs.
• We will not be able to return any submissions. Applicants must submit their applications by 12/31/2021 at 5:00PM Eastern.
