Delicately secured on board her cargo ship, the Regency P65 headed from the New Ocean Yacht's shipyard in Taiwan with Savannah as her final port. Once arrived, the P65 was greeted by an anxious Dan Sammis, manager of Seattle Yachts Palm Beach, who has been waiting to get the yacht into South Florida waters. "The P65 is a gamechanger for the mid-60 flybridge motor yacht market," says Dan as watched the crane gently lower her into the water below. "It's tough to find a pilothouse motor yacht in today's market that comes this well-built, this loaded with standard features, has this much space, and all for under $3 million." The P65 will spend the next week getting commissioned and detailed in preparation for the Miami Yacht Show which begins February 14th and lasts until the 18th. If you're going to the show, you can find the Seattle Yachts team with the Regency P65 on Ramp A, Slip 16, or call us at (561) 406-6437 for a private tour.
The Regency P65 is as elegant as she is rugged, a juxtaposition that few builders are really able to perfect when it comes to the construction and styling of their yacht. The Taiwanese shipyard, along with owner Jeff Chen and Seattle Yacht's own Martin Snyder, did a remarkable job designing a strong, durable motor yacht capable of long-distance cruising in the Pacific Northwest. The interior is an oasis from the elements with remarkable woodwork throughout the boat, spacious staterooms, and accents of granite, marble, and stainless steel.

Outdoor Socializing Areas
While there are many highlights inside the P65, the outdoor socializing and entertaining zones are full of small details to enhance your time on board. The aft cockpit is spacious and comfortable, complete with a beautifully hand-crafted dining table. The overhang from the flybridge completely covers all sides of the aft deck which allows for a full isinglass enclosure if desired, extending the inside living space on board. Turn on the recessed LED lights and the top-end stereo system for an outdoor dance floor.
Additionally, the Regency P65 has an absolutely massive flybridge for its class. Aft on the bridge is a space for a yacht tender and a hydraulic davit for easy, non-problematic launching. Once the tender is in the water, add chairs to this space to extend the seating area. The flybridge is also equipped with a full bar, barbecue grill, and counter top for sitting and serving food. A J-shaped lounge and glass cocktail table provide an excellent space to sit and relax or dine outdoors.

A Private Salon
The P65 features a private salon, slightly separated from the galley, dining area, and helm station. The seating area in the salon becomes a little more private and is a true "living room on the water". The salon features a large leather sofa and two chairs along with a beautiful glass coffee table. The entire salon is bathed in walnut horizontal grain that ties the boat together and the wet bar is a perfect addition for entertaining guests.
The galley is also quite large with top-end appliances, granite countertops, and lots of counterspace for food preparation. Flying cabinets overhead create even more storage space for food and cooking equipment, a nice addition for the owner that is planning long-range cruising. There is an open space as well between the galley and the pilothouse dining area that allows the cooks to still be a part of the conversation around the table.

Accommodations Fit For a King
The owner's suite is a full-beam stateroom that is spacious, luxurious, and a welcoming haven after a long day at sea. There is a beautiful en suite head along with walk-in closet and an abundance of storage space. The 6' 6" ceilings as well as the opening portlights to port and starboard add to the feeling that this is one large room. Each Regency owner will work with their own private interior decorator to design each room on the yacht, including the cabins.
The VIP stateroom is placed in the bow with a queen-sized berth. The bulkheads create convenient shelves and there is storage below the bed as well as in the hanging locker. Each stateroom on board has their own personal climate control settings for maximum comfort while sleeping. The third guest stateroom shares a guest head with the VIP, however the VIP has a private access to it. The guest cabin which features two twin berths, also has its own entertainment center, port lights, A/C and heat, and more storage.
