Northern Marine nears completion of its first yacht since re-opening post Covid and the acquisition by Seattle Yachts. Hull 57-06 is scheduled to launch this fall and will undergo commissioning and sea trials early next year.

“We are also working on a new 64-footer and will infuse the hull in the next couple of weeks,” says Peter Whiting, Managing Partner at Seattle Yachts. “We are quite pleased how well 57-06 came out. She is the best equipped of any Northern Marine 57 built to date, with the most lavish interior sure to please any potential owners. She is a real head turner.”

Launch and commissioning plans include a professional video tour, media previews, and an aggressive boat show schedule to showcase the quality of construction in every Northern Marine yacht.

The Northern Marine facility is located in Anacortes, Washington. General Manager Stuart Archer says the company was successful in bringing back many of its skilled workforce to carry on the Northern Marine tradition of building the highest quality cruising yachts, right here in the U.S. As Archer comments, being able to work directly with its customers ensures the best yacht building experience and is one reason Northern Marine is considered one of the world’s leading builders of full displacement expedition yachts.
