Hanse 360

Hanse 360 Details

The new Hanse 360 packs big-boat comfort into a nimble, easy-to-handle 36-footer—perfect if you want quick getaways with minimal crew. A modern hull, twin wheels, and Hanse’s trademark self-tacking jib make short-handed sailing genuinely stress-free, while an integrated bowsprit opens the door to fun code sails for light-air speed. Below deck, the bright, contemporary interior offers flexible layouts (forward owner’s cabin plus one or two aft cabins), a proper galley, and smart storage so weekends effortlessly stretch into weeks. Add in thoughtful deck ergonomics, clean running rigging led aft, and a wide swim platform for instant water access, and you get a cruiser that’s fast, simple, and comfortable—backed by customization options to match your sailing style and aesthetic.

Design & performance

Drawn by Berret–Racoupeau, the 360 ushers in Hanse’s latest-generation hull with pronounced chines for form stability and speed, paired to a tall, efficient rig that stays easy for short-handed crews: standard self-tacking jib, full-batten mainsail (furling and square-top options), and all control lines led aft to twin wheels. Spec highlights include LOA 11.32 m (37'2"), beam 3.99 m (13'1"), draft options 1.65 m (shallow) or 2.05 m (L-keel), total upwind sail area ~61 m², and CE Category A-6. The model effectively replaces the 348/388 in the range—delivering more volume and polish while keeping Hanse’s trademark “fast & easy” sailing DNA.

Deck, rig & handling

A clean walk-around deck in GRP/balsa sandwich (vinyl-ester first layer) features high bulwarks, an integrated bowsprit for code sails/gennakers, a spacious, ergonomic cockpit with twin leather-wrapped wheels, large cockpit lockers (incl. life-raft space), and a wide swim platform with ladder for effortless water access. Running rigging is covered and led to the helm, with standard Lewmar 40ST halyard winches, manual jib furler, and Hanse’s mainsheet system for simple trim. LED nav lights are standard; the optional electronics/autohelm suites build on this straightforward base.

Interior layouts & finish

Below, the 360 aims for big-boat comfort in a compact footprint, with flexible layouts to suit couples or families. Choices include: owner’s island-berth cabin forward; one or two aft cabins; and either a large stowage/utility space or a second head. The saloon centers on a generous dinette opposite a proper L-galley (double sink, oven/2-burner stove, ~135 L fridge, quartz worktops). Multiple opening hatches/ports and six hull windows flood the interior with light; furniture is marine-ply with satin varnish, with upholstery and wood selections available through Hanse’s customization program.

Systems, tanks & power

Standard propulsion is a 29 hp diesel saildrive (optional 39 hp). Factory electric drive packages are also listed (up to 36 kWh battery capacity with 25 kW motor). Tanks: ~160 L fuel, ~345 L fresh water, and black-water tanks per head. Electrical spec includes 12/230 V panels, shore power, charger, and AGM house/start batteries. Safety gear, manual/electric bilge pumps, LPG system, and hot-water heater (engine/shore) are standard.
