Paris, a Pacific Northwest native was five when first experienced the magic of the San Juans and got hooked on boating. He has continued to boat ever since. He is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB). Paris and his wife have cruised extensively locally and in Canada and currently live aboard their 50' pilot house motoryacht at Shilshole Bay Marina. Paris serves as a Dock Captain on F-Dock and is Vice President of the Shilshole Liveaboard Association. Not surprisingly, he continued the family tradition and took his own son to the San Juans for the first time, also at age five. The magic had the same effect on his son who now lives aboard at Shilshole, a few docks away from Paris and his wife!

Princess Louisa is a place that all boaters should visit. It was deeded by Mac McDonald to the boaters of Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. It is not that far, only 200 miles from Anacortes. The first time you see it, a chill will go up your spine. We usually go in September to avoid the crowds.
